Mrs Whiston 3rd Class
Our final two weeks in 3rd Class!
We have had some great fun over the last two weeks, we've been to the library, used old cardboard to construct impressive carnivals, completed messy science experiments, had Teddy's ice cream, visited the park, watched Toy Story 4 and enjoyed a fun sports day!
Causey Farm 2019
3rd Class had a brilliant time at Causey Farm. We got to feed and pet many animals not to mention getting completely filthy jumping into the bog!
Finding time in our busy day to play!
We have spent the last six weeks exploring ballroom dancing. It has been so much fun. Congratulations to all the children for giving it a go!
Reader in Residence
We have been so lucky to have worked with Ruth, our reader in residence, over the last few weeks. We met Ruth in the Ilac Library on Wednesday. she introduced us to a new author, Patricia Forde and showed us how to find the books we are interested in, in the library. We are looking forward to going back to the library next week.
Thank you to all the parents who came to hear about all the work we have been doing in third class. We really enjoyed showing you our classroom and performing our songs and poems for you all! We can't wait to do it all again for you soon.
Thank you so much to all the parents who joined us for Halloween Art today. We had a great time making our imaginative lanterns.
3rd Class really enjoyed their day in Malahide Castle!
3rd Class went to Fighting Words today and created their own book!
