3rd Class- Mr Conway.

The children in 3rd Class enjoy using Puppets to develop their oral language competency.

We were very lucky that Niall Scully came to visit our school and bring Sam with him. We look forward to seeing Niall and Sam again in September.

The children in 3rd Class have continued to do V.T.S. (Visual Thinking Strategies)  in conjunction with The Lab in Foley Street. As part of this project we went on a tour of Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane where the children got an opportunity to examine and interpret work by established artists.

Junior Achievement

Central Model Senior School is proud to be involved with Junior Achievement.

Business volunteers from offices in the city centre come into each classroom for one hour a week, for 6 weeks to teach the relevant Junior Achievement programme.

"Junior Achievement Ireland (JAI) encourages young people to remain in education and helps them develop the skills they need to succeed in a changing world. JAI is part of a worldwide organisation bringing entrepreneurship education to over 10 million young people each year.

Junior Achievement programmes help to create a culture of enterprise within the education system. It also helps young people prepare for the world w.

Programmes begin at primary school level, teaching children how they can impact the world around them as individuals, workers and consumers and continue through to secondary school, right up to age 18, preparing students for their future careers. All JA programmes are taught by business volunteers recruited from supporting organisations who are fully trained before they commence their programme
