Green Day

This month we have been busy practising our poem 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. We have been learning about Christmas in Irish and creating lots of festive art. We wrote ads in Literacy and  learnt how to do long multiplication. We had lots of fun with boxing, coding and basketball.  We are looking forward to our Christmas holidays, Nollaig Shona Daoibh!

This month we will be learning about persuasive writing in Literacy, Shape and Space in Maths, Sa Bhaile in Irish, Anne Frank in History, People at Work in Geography, Rocks in Science and much much more!

What a busy month October was! We had had GAA every Monday with Mark, we learned about Japan, we created lots of beautiful artwork and we prepared for Halloween. Not to mention all the other exciting work going on in 4th class! Well done to all the students and see you after the midterm break.

The boys and girls of 4th class have settled back into school very well. Even though some things are different such as 'class bubbles' and 'class pods', different playtimes and home times and lots extra time given to hand washing, the children are extremely happy to be back and there is lots of super learning taking place.

Check out some of the activities we got up to during September.
