School Closure 2021
As you are aware, schools are closed until 1st February 2021. We will begin our Remote Learning programme on Monday 11th January 2021 at 09.00am. Teachers will communicate with children via the Seesaw App. Please check School News on our website and your Aladdin Connect app for further information.
Reopening of schools - Update 26.3.21
We are delighted with this week’s announcement that school will reopen for our 2nd classes on Monday next, 1st March and that 3rd to 6th classes are due to return on Monday 15th March. Staff will ensure that all of the protocols outlined in our COVID-19 Response Policy and Plan are fully adhered to in order to ensure as safe an environment as possible in the current circumstances.
The whole school community worked tirelessly before Christmas to minimise risk from transmission of Covid-19. As we return to school over the coming weeks, we ask everyone to double their efforts to ensure that our school environment remains as safe as possible, so that we can, hopefully, avoid any further closures of the school building this year.

Return to School 2020
Dear Parents,
We are really looking forward to welcoming your children back to school again on Wednesday 26th August and to welcoming our new 2nd classes. A lot of work is going on at present as we prepare for the safe return of all our pupils in accordance with the recently issued guidelines from the Department of Education and Skills.
Re-opening our school safely will require the co-operation of all members of our school community – staff, parents, pupils, leadership team and our Board of Management. We all need to work collaboratively and play our part to ensure that re-opening of the school is done in a safe manner which prevents the spread of the virus and allows the vital work of teaching and learning to proceed with as little disruption as possible.
